Straight from the North Pole, we welcome Anderson and Lydia's elf..."Jingles". Anderson looked and looked for Jingles this morning after reading the book last night right before bed. We had to narrow it down and tell him it was in the kitchen and then he glanced up and I wish you could have seen his eyes...as big as saucers they were!!I guess he thought all this talk of an elf (I've been building it up for a week or so) was hogwash! We also sat down and played with the interactive Elf on the Shelf Website and that made him even more of a believer!!
Jingles the elf comes to our house everyday to watch Anderson and Lydia to make sure they are good. Then he reports back to the North Pole to let Santa know if my sweet babies should get any toys this year!! When we wake up the next morning we have to find where Jingles is hiding. We can't touch him or talk to him, but we know he is watching all the time! I've heard from some other Mommies that these elves can be a bit on the mischievous side, so keep checking back to see if Jingles has a bit of fun.

What a cute idea! I may have to steal it for next Christmas!
we're allow to talk to our elf but not touch. and our isnt mischievous because santa doesnt like that... ours does good things... like make your bed or pick up your clothes =)
Hmmm...good idea about making the elf be good instead of mischievious! I hadn't thought about that!! So...who is this?? Sorry- anonymous comments make me a little nervous! :-)
